CS410-L

Campbell

The CS410 is a shaft encoder designed for water level measurements. A pulley attached to a a float and counter-weight rotates as water level rises or falls, and the shaft encoder sends two pulse strings to the datalogger. The datalogger records the pulse strings, and the water level is calculated by adding and subtacting the clockwise or counter clockwise movement to a running total.

Features

Encoder resolution is 100 counts per shaft revolution; 1 ft circumference pulley=0.01 ft resolution
Starting torque is less than 0.125 inch-ounces
Outputs two pulse strings
Float, pulley, float line, end hooks, counterweight also available through CSI
Measures water level in stilling wells
Maximum cable length is 100 ft
Manufactured by Campbell Scientific
